Fishing
Fishing, with a licence, is permitted in the Gatineau Park lakes with Quebec fishing licences. Ontario fishing licences are only valid in Ontario. At Mulvihill Lake, near the Mackenzie King Estate, there is a fishing jetty designed to accommodate wheelchairs. Licences can be obtained through Access Ontario in the Rideau Centre - (613) 238-3630. They also have a list of Ottawa area merchants that sell licences. Canoe rental is available at Lac la Peche, Lac Philippe, and the Group Campground in Gatineau Park. Follow the routes of the early voyageurs and explorers with Canadian Voyageur Adventures. One, two and five day excursions in Voyageur canoes are available.
