Our primary goal is to give apparently unadoptable cats a second chance.
The only animal rescue group in the Ottawa area that aids ferrets in need. Ferrets that are brought to the Humane Society are transferred to us for special care.
Our mandate is to re-establish cats and dogs abandoned in the Ottawa and surrounding area in permanent, caring homes; to prevent any further increase to the dog and cat over-population problem by spaying and/or neutering all adult abandoned pets.
Our focus:on behalf of the animal welfare we try to improve relations between animals and humans, to educate people to a higher level of understanding when it comes to any animal related issue.
The Bytown Association for Rescued Kanines (B.A.R.K.) is an all breed "no kill" rescue organization.
Our mission is to ensure the sustainability, credibility, and availability of Animal Assisted Support Services by supporting related charities and those they serve.
