The National Capital Region Wildlife Festival, which is a local
celebration of National Wildlife Week, has events taking place
in April. National Wildlife Week takes place each year in the
week surrounding April 10th, the birthday of Jack Miner, a pioneer
of Canada’s conservation movement. Proclaimed in 1947
by an act of Parliament, NWW is a time to celebrate our natural
heritage and play a part in its conservation. NWW is a program
of the Canadian Wildlife Federation, a non-profit, non-governmental
organization, sponsored in partnership with provincial and territorial
government wildlife agencies and the Canadian Wildlife Service.
In celebration of NWW activities, events and festivals will
be taking place across the country, celebrating backyard birds
from Newfoundland to British Columbia. If you, or your group,
plan planning to hold a NWW event in your community, CWF would
like to know about it.

The Guy Show is a consumer trade show with a difference. Anything
a Guy can twist, turn, point, sit on, stand on, wear, build
with, swim in, drive in, tweak, setup, listen to, speak to,
fish with, ski with, fly from and generally show off to his
envious buddies can be found at The Guy Show.
The Guy Show not only shows them the latest in what they can
see, do or buy - but we're also unequivocably and unabashedly
(ok, shamefully) committed to providing our attendees with an
experience that doesn't just open their minds to the latest
and greatest guy products and services ? but also puts them
in the frame of mind of opening up their wallets to our exhibitors.
