This restaurant and bar is the product, culturally speaking of
an Irish and Italian marriage. At Pub Italia, you can wash
down a garlicky Caesar salad with a Guiness or toast the broadcast
of an Italian soccer game with a Czech pilsner. Located
in the heart of Little Italy, this pub on one side and restaurant
on the other is lush with decor from naked ladies carved in glass
to expansive confessional booths that can sit four, including
heavy coats. They also have a private Irish snug with a
door and a special light to summon the server. Families,
artists, and Little Italy regulars congregate at the pub and buy
the coffee beans behind the bar - among the finest town if rich
espresso with a Turkish aftertaste is to your liking. Fine
Italian food doubles as pub fare, and Thursdays to Saturdays you
can order dishes after midnight. As for the name, three
guesses as to what the house salad dressing is. Open daily
from 11AM to 2AM. Visit our web site for complete details.
