Christ Church Cathedral is a diverse and vibrant parish with a wide range of ministries. We strive to be a place of welcome and hospitality for all people, a place where faith is nurtured in creative ways, and where concern for the well-being of others is undertaken within and well beyond our parish family.
This Cathedral strives to be a centre of thoughtful Christianity, and to be a welcoming and peaceful place for people of all ages to gather for prayer, friendship and encouragement.
The Cathedral has long been a place which enjoys and promotes excellence in sacred music, and where captivating performances of the arts and other community events have drawn people from all walks of life.
Christ Church Cathedral has been a place of prayer and pastoral care since 1832, first as an Anglican parish serving the early settlement called Bytown, and since 1897 as the Cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa.
Whether you visit us on line or off the street, this Cathedral in the Nation's Capital warmly welcomes you.
