The Junior Athletic Competitions (JAC) are open to everyone. It is a free event to encourage youth/children aged 2 to 18 years to participate in a day of fun and sport, free lunch is provided.
This year the JAC is being held on June 16th at St. Patrick's High School, 2525 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa.
Max Keeping joins us each year to present medals to all the participating athletes following the races.
The 33rd Battalion donates the use of tents and tables/chairs and the set up/take down and the Hot 89.9 Morning Team will also be joining us.
Pre-Register by June 9th
Event Schedule
- 9:30am – Sign In
- 10:15 am – Mayor Jim Watson will open the event
- 10:30am - Races start
- 11:45am – First Lunch (provided free to all)
- 12:15pm – Second Lunch
- 1pm – races start up
- 2:15pm – Tug of War – everyone is involved
- 2:30pm – Max Keeping presents medals to all the young athletes
