The journey starts before you even step on the starting line. It begins with setting goals, logging countless training hours and kilometers in rain, sun and snow. From coast to coast, training runs are mapped with one common destination: Canada's premiere race weekend; The Ottawa Marathon. For every runner the journey is different and The Ottawa Race Weekend is a journey worth making.
The festival is currently scheduled to feature 10 days of programming, from Thursday, July 4 to Monday, July 8 and continuing Wednesday, July 10 to Sunday, July 14.

The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival is an annual, culturally diverse festival held at Mooney's Bay Park every June. Over 5,000 paddlers compete to win on the water while immersing themselves in a wide variety of cultural performances, workshops, and raising $350,000 for local charity.
The 3i Summit 2010 draws on the life work, dreams and inspiration of dozens of Ottawa's most dynamic innovators.
The annual fair of the North Lanark Agricultural Society is one of the oldest fairs in the Ottawa Valley.
The first Agricultural Society existed in Bathurst District in the early 1830′s. An Agricultural Society was formed in McNab township in 1854, which was the first in Renfrew County.

The Latin American Committee is a non-profit organization, organizes its anticipated annual PARADE in order to give a great opportunity to communities in Ottawa and Gatineau to learn, celebrate and taste the Latin American hospitality and heritage.
Lebanorama participants can enjoy continuous showcase of Lebanese folk and contemporary music, song and dance in an intimate artistic setting.
The attractive white buildings and all those bright orange roofs have become a local landmark for area residents as well as travelers on Hwy 15. In the twenty – eight years at this location the fair has grown and expanded to act as a bench mark for other fairs in Ontario.

Each year for over two decades, thousands of people have flocked to the Glebe for the annual Great Glebe Garage Sale. I'm sure you've heard about this legendary local garage sale. It's the one where people walk away with used traffic lights or rare and valuable works of art. These finds are rare however. Most people end up with sore feet and a backpack full of ceramic pots and old books that their significant other purchased over on Holmwood.
