Basement Artists is proud to announce its next show, the GIRLS RULE CHARITY EVENT! Happening March 13th at the amazing Mercury Lounge in the Market, our GIRLS RULE CHARITY EVENT will feature as always several incredible local artists showcasing their work. Performing will be FOUR of Ottawa's most talented ladies. Annelise Petlock has been playing music since she was 3 and this singer/songwriter promises to give you chills with her acoustic sound. Lauren Cauchy brought her guitar and her talent to a Basement Artists show in September 2010 and we loved her down-to-earth style so much we've invited her back. The lovely Courtney Thorman is back again to provide her voice to our charity event and Tanya Janca takes a break from her band Eugene and the Eugenics to prove she's just as amazing playing solo.
In addition to this female-powered show, Basement Artists will be supporting the Ottawa Humane Society with an Art Auction. Attendees will be able to bid on a number of art pieces with all the proceeds going to that charity. Many artists and musicians associated with Basement Artists are pet owners and lovers and we all believe animals deserve attention and care. Show your pets you love them and bid on some art!
The GIRLS RULE CHARITY EVENT starts at 7 PM until 11:30 PM.
Tickets are $8 and now available through the artists and performers as well as The Record Shaap @ 209 Gilmour and our newest supporter, Neon Clothing @ 60 George St. Tickets also available at the door for $10.
Ages 19 and over.
Spring is coming! Time to spruce up your home and mind with art and music! Support local artists!
