Abbeyfield is a concept that originated in the United Kingdom; today there are 900 Abbeyfield Houses around the world. There are 27 Abbeyfield Houses in Canada including several in British Columbia and Ontario.
Our humanitarian foundation offers basic health care to isolated African villages, participates in the fight against HIV/AIDS, and contributes to the training of human resources both in Canada and in the host countries of Gabon, Benin, and Tanzania.
