As a firm believer in access to justice for all, Legal Aid cases are accepted.

The first half-hour consultation is always free. For some cases, such as with real estate transactions, work is for a fixed price, for other cases work is billed on an hourly basis.

During your first consultation, the facts of your case are gathered to clearly identify your legal issues. At this time, your case will be evaluated as to whether it can be best dealt with at a fixed price or should be billed on an hourly basis. The pros and cons of these types of billing will be explained. Regular and itemized billing is guaranteed, so that you know how much money you spend and on what.

Mr. Martel prides himself in always acting in the client’s best interests. As such, if your chances of success are limited, you will be informed of this in the initial consultation. As part of the process this can become apparent later, perhaps as a result of additional information. If this is the case, you will be informed.
