Hill off Sussex Drive, the ByWard Market
has been a centre of commerce for Ottawa since the 19th century. Originally
named Bytown, this major tourist attraction grew from a farmer's market,
to become the home to 350 unique boutiques, cafes and services. Everything
from fresh fruit, fish, vegetables, maple syrup and flowers are still available.
