Centretown Area
This large neighbourhood comprises
a unique blend of residential and commercial sectors. It encompasses Ottawa's
downtown business sector (centred around Bank Street from Sparks Street
to the Queensway) and a residential area characterized by lovingly restored
Victorian homes on tree-lined streets leading to the Rideau Canal. Elgin
Street, on the eastern edge of the area, is noted for its many restaurants
