When her husband became ill with brain cancer she saw for herself the side effects that chemo and radiation have on the body and became determined to support his treatments with alternative medicine, and supplements as well as dietary and nutritional corrections.
The research Michelle conducted to create her original program convinced her to pursue studies and become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist to help others reach optimal health and overcome illness caused through nutritional deficiencies and imbalances in essential nutrients.
As a registered Holistic Nutritionist her principal function is to educate individuals and groups about the benefits and health impact of optimal nutrition. Focusing on the idea that no two people are exactly the same, she works with clients to teach them about the significance of poor nutrition as the cause of a wide range of health disorders.
With proper nutrition, supplements and lifestyle changes, a person can provide their body with the right tools to help fight off disease, infections and health conditions naturally. Michelle has learned through training and personal experience the difference that good nutrition can make when dealing with many different types of ailments.
Although most people are aware of the benefits of sound nutrition, the wide range of conflicting information available to consumers can be very confusing.
Along with being a Certified Holistic Nutritionist she is also a Certified Professional Cancer Coach. Michelle offers Cancer Workshops and Cancer Coaching Support Services in the Ottawa, Ontario area.
