Spay and Neuter Clinics
>Be a responsible pet owner -- have your pet spayed or neutered (sterilized). The reduction in the pet population resulting from sterilization is a benefit to the community in general and, in the long term, reduces the cost for taxpayers of animal control. If you are a pet lover take a look at some of Ottawa's pet stores.
The Ottawa Veterinary Hospital has been in operation since 1967. Due to need for emergency services in the Ottawa area, the clinic was converted to a 24 hour emergency hospital that operates 7 days a week including holidays in 1978. We welcome referrals and transfers from other clinics, new clients, walk-ins and of course emergencies especially when your regular vet is closed.
The Spay/Neuter Clinic is a City-operated facility which provides dog and cat sterilization services. Spaying or neutering pets reduces the number of unwanted domesticated animals and the cost of animal control.
