Ottawa Little Theatre is a charitable not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization and is financially dependent upon subscribers and their donations for its operation and maintenance. Professional in style, traditional in tone, Ottawa Little Theatre has been a vital part of the Ottawa Arts Community for 97 years, making it the longest running community theatre in Canada.
We strive to provide a variety of popular plays suited to differing tastes. Whether your idea of an evening out is a fun-loving comedy, the energetic silliness of a farce, a classic drama, or the high tension of a thriller, we hope you will find something to enjoy.
Ottawa Little Theatre is also available as a venue for private or public functions. From corporate seminars, team building events, awards nights and even weddings! Ottawa Little Theatre provides the perfect downtown venue to make your event truly unique! OLT also provides costume, prop and set rentals, March Break and summer drama classes for children and teens as well as adult drama classes throughout the year. There is a lot more going on at OLT besides great plays!
Ottawa Little Theatre's 98th Season Begins this Tuesday!
Due to construction in the area during our first show, we are providing options with regards to parking. Loblaws Parking (One block from OLT) has kindly offered to extend their parking hours to 11 pm indefinitely. This clean, bright and staffed parking garage charges only $2 for evening parking. This will be perfect winter parking as it is heated.
Please view the map and read the notes below for helpful information regarding parking.
- If using the Loblaws Parking, please remember after the show, to enter through the main parking garage doors as Loblaws closes at 10 pm.
- There is construction on King Edward Ave., however vehicles can still turn left on King Edward Ave., (toward Rideau St.) from Besserer St. Currently vehicles cannot turn right on King Edward Ave. From Besserer St.
If travelling from the East end you may consider taking Vanier Parkway to Montreal Road, which becomes Rideau St., and turning right on Nelson St. at Loblaws.
If travelling from the West end, you may consider taking Nicholas St. to Rideau St., turning right on Rideau St., Crossing King Edward Ave. and turning left on Nelson St. at Loblaws.
