Family Swims
Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years and over. 

Watch for it - Mock situations
The City of Ottawa Aquatic Staff will periodically be performing mock situations during open swims. This will allow our staff to practice their life saving skills in an authentic environment. The public will be informed prior to such mock situations by an announcement in the pool area.

For Your Safety
For safety, a child must be 6 inches taller than the depth of water at the shallow end of the pool or have a demonstrated swimming ability. Should the child not meet one of these requirements, he/she must be accompanied by a person 16 years of age or older who is in the water actively supervising.
