The CBC Ottawa radio signal for both CBO 91.5 FM and CBOQ Stereo 103.3 FM can be received in an area stretching from Prescott, Ontario in the south to midway between Maniwaki and Gracefield, Quebec in the north, and from Beachburg, Ontario in the west to Hawkesbury, Ontario in the east.

News/Talk Radio. CFRA began broadcasting May 3rd, 1947 in the old Ottawa Auditorium (where the YMCA currently is located) It was a star studded event, with Percy Faith and his 40 piece Orchestra, and a 60 voice choir performing to more than 10,000 people who came out for this momentous occasion. In 1947, it was then Ottawa Mayor Stanley Lewis proclaiming Radio Station CFRA "officially on the air". Some names of people who have worked at CFRA include, Mike Duffy, Fred Davis, Mike Anscombe, Ernie Calcutt, Max Keeping, Henry Champ, Don Chevrier, Al Dubois, Rich Little, Hal Anthony, Campbell McDonald and many more. 580 CFRA is a CHUM Group Radio Station.
