Ottawa's all sports radio station, OSR 1200 has been officially re-launched as THE TEAM, SPORTS RADIO 1200. "OSR 1200 paved the way for sports radio in Ottawa and clearly demonstrated that there was a viable market for the format." said Mark Maheu, General Manager of THE TEAM.
THE TEAM, SPORTS RADIO 1200 will continue to be the flagship radio station of the Ottawa Senators and has recently added an extensive play-by-play partnership with the Ottawa 67's.
"THE TEAM will feature many new programming features that will appeal to our rapidly growing base of adult male listeners", said Alan Davis, Program Director of THE TEAM. "We're very excited about combining the best of our existing talen while adding several new members to THE TEAM. We really feel this is a new beginning for sports radio in Ottawa." added Mr. Davis.
