The Parliament Pub combines Dining and Political Fun.
Locations do not get much better than this: directly across the street from Parliament Hill. They say the Parliament Pub is where the real business of government gets done- it's an inviting spot for lunch and dinner where excellent food and beverages can be enjoyed against a political backdrop.
The Parliament Pub serves great sandwiches and wraps and creative salads. Homemade soup, pizza, quiche and pasta specials are made fresh daily. Menu items have a political flavor: try Paul Martin's Everything for Everyone Sun-Dried Tomato Pizza or Stephen Harper's Right-Wing Voodoo Chicken Sandwich. A fine selection of beers (with no political agenda) is on tap.
The Hill and Sparks Street crowd like the ambience and warm decor harking back to the early days of political life in Ottawa. As a result, the Pub has built a great reputation as the place to meet and eat in the shadow of the Peace Tower. The Parliament Pub has a unique atmosphere that is all Ottawa. The walls are adorned with caricatures of politicians drawn by Eugene Bellemare (formerly Member of Parliament for Ottawa-Carleton) and photographs by Jean-Marc Carisse (Pierre Trudeau's Photographer). The Parliament Pub is also available for cocktail parties and special events. Come and visit and enjoy.
