CANAL BIKES at Confederation Park/Dow’s Lake
The Rideau Canal Festival Bike Program offers visitors and tourists an easy opportunity to experience the Rideau Canal by bicycle. For a minimum donation to Bicycles for Humanity, visitors and tourists can pick up a Rideau Canal Festival bike at Confederation Park or Dows Lake from August 1-3, and enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride along the scenic Rideau Canal.
Hours of operation:
Saturday, August 1 – 10AM to 6AM
Sunday, August 2 – 10AM to 6PM
Monday, August 3 – 10AM to 4PM
Bicycles for Humanity will also be operating a bicycle parking lot at Confederation Park throughout the Festival. Bicycles and safety equipment are graciously provided by Kunstadt Ottawa.

Rideau Canal Shuttle
Throughout the Festival weekend, Amphibus Lady Dive will be operating a double decker shuttle service between the Chateau Laurier (Bytown Museum site), Sparks & Elgin (Confederation Park site) and Dows Lake on the following schedule:
Festival visitors can purchase a $5 bracelet for the day shuttle from the Amphibus Lady Dive sales rep at the Chateau Laurier stop or on board the shuttle.
Amphibus Lady Dive’s regular Double Decker city tours leave from the kiosk at the corner of
Sparks & Elgin every hour from 10am to 4pm.
Tours are 90 minutes. Festival visitors who have purchased the shuttle bracelet will receive a $5 discount off the regular tour pass.
