Kunstadt Sports is Ottawa's headquarters for skiing, tennis and cycling
equipment and apparel. Our passion for sports and commitment to our
customers is easily felt in the family atmosphere at all three of our
locations--Kanata, the Glebe, and Bank St. South.

For generations, our team has dedicated itself to outdoor sports and our

Every team member has significant experience in our core areas along with
ongoing product knowledge training. Our staff are like family and that
translates to unsurmountable customer service. In addition to our
knowledgeable, friendly floor staff, we also have the best technicians to
service your equipment. A few of our technicians have been working with us
since we opened our first store in 1993!

We have carefully selected partnerships with most dedicated product
suppliers in the industry. This means a variety of selection and competitive

3) Commitment to the community
With strong family values comes strong community values.  We believe that
everyone should be able to participate in sport so we make several donations
to different organizations in the city.  We are also the only sports store
in Ottawa that facilitates a trade-in program.  Adults and children can
trade in their gently used equipment for an upgrade at all of our locations.
This makes it much easier for families to equip their growing children with
quality sports equipment at affordable prices.

Do you enjoy fresh air, seeing the sites and being environmentally friendly? Of course you do and that’s why we focus our attention to cycling in the warm spring and summer months. We have worked to enhance our cycling department to include products for customers of all needs. We have high end road bikes for the long distance enthusiast, fully suspended downhill bikes for the adrenaline “junkie”, as well as hybrid and cross-country bikes for the more conventional cyclist. Our bikes come in a variety of sizes, including a wide selection of children’s and youth bicycles. Our most popular brands include Devinci, Norco, Stevens, Masi, Louis Garneau, Diamondback and Raleigh.

Not only do we take pride in offering a great selection on a variety of bicycles, we also devote priority to providing top quality maintenance and repairs on bikes for our customers. This includes anything from a basic maintenance check-up to a full overhaul. With a technician in-store at all times, all your questions or concerns can be immediately addressed.

1) Kunstadt Bicycles

We have developed a full line of Kunstadt bicycles made to our own exacting specifications by one of the world’s most reputable bicycle manufacturers.   We offer the Kanata, Ottawa and Ottawa Sport models for those who prefer the hybrid bicycles, there is the Gatineau mountain bike, the Calabogie racing road bike and the Glebe comfort classic cruiser.

2) Belize Bicycles

BELIZE BICYCLE is an importer, manufacturer and distributor of adult tricycles, tandem tricycle, electric bicycles, power assist tricycles, gas scooters, trail bikes, folding bikes, trikes, tandem bicycle and push and kick scooters both folding and non-folding.

Kunstadt Sports offers Belize electric trikes, bikes, scooters & kits which offer a green solution for now and the future.   The electric assist bicycles and electric trikes can also be pedal powered and are designed to meet federal requirements for use where-ever bikes are allowed.

3) KHS Bicycles

KHS Bicycles Inc. was founded in 1974 as an American-based company distributing the KHS brand of bicycles.   KHS Bicycles Inc. manufactures full lines of mountain, road and touring bicycles as well as comfort tandems and cruisers.   In addition, KHS Bicycles Inc. markets BMX, freestyle and dirt jumping bicycles to the juvenile and youth markets under the brand name Free Agent.   KHS also markets its own brand of parts and accessories under the Power Tools label.

4) Rocky Mountain Bicycles

Rocky Mountain manufactures Mountain, Road Urban and Ladies’ bicycles.   The love for riding bicycles on dirt is what started Rocky Mountain to make the bikes they do.   Straight-Up geometry and patented SmoothLink suspension system makes the Rocky Mountain Bike a super efficient climber and a wicked descender.   Their road bikes share the same commitment to quality, simplicity, and performance that their mountain bikes do.   All of their urban bikes are comfortable, safe, and efficient

5) Raleigh Bicycles

6) Davinci Bicycles

The Devinci Company was founded in 1987 under the vision of a mechanical engineer and an industrial designer.   Beginnings were quite modest: the aluminum bike frames were hand-crafted in small quantities.   In 1990, Félix Gauthier envisioned the potential of this small company and decided to develop it to full capacity.   For two years, he worked at establishing an industrial manufacturing process that would lead to larger-scale bicycle manufacturing.   During this period, many tools and equipment specific to the manufacturing of aluminum frames were developed at Devinci. 1993 marked the beginning of the Félix Gauthier commercial era at Devinci.   Devinci bikes, virtually unknown at the time, became available in a few specialized shops throughout Quebec.  Devinci now has a Canada-wide distribution network.   The reputation of Devinci bikes was spread by word of mouth, by cyclists who were satisfied and proud to own a Canadian-made bike.   Devinci is now considered a major player in the bike manufacturing industry.   Kunstadt Sports is proud to offer a complete lineup of Devinci bicycles and related products.

7) Jamis Bicycles

Building the perfect bike is an impossible goal, but it's the only one that's worthwhile. That is the motto at the Jamis Bicycle Company.   What began as a modest regional distributor of imported European bicycles and parts in 1937 has grown into a national powerhouse with international distributors throughout the world.   Today, the lineup has it all:   full suspension and hardtail mountain bikes, racy road bikes, street bikes, comfort bikes and even youth bikes.  When the carbon frames became all the rage, Jamis was one of the first off the mark.   We invite you to Kunstadt Sports to see the full line of Jamis bicycles.

8) Stevens Bicycles

9) Scott Bicycles

In the 1990s, SCOTT entered into the production of mountain bike suspension with Unishock. American Ruthie Matthes won the MTB World Championship using Unishocks that same year.  Soon after, SCOTT introduced its first carbon mountain bike.   It was a hard tail featuring many advantages of a fully suspended frame.  Thanks to many victories in the World Cup and at the Olympic Games, as well as great coverage in the media, the bike became a true legend.   In 2002, Patrice Halgand of the professional road racing team Jean Delatour, sponsored by SCOTT, won the 10th stage of the Tour de France.   Today, Scott is a highly recognized name in the sport of bicycling. 1) Yonex

In the 1946, just after the world war had ended, Yonex was established. After refining the technique of wood manufacturing, Yonex started to manufacture badminton racquets in the 1957. In 1969, Yonex embarked in tennis racquets made with aluminum, and then in 1982, Yonex started to produce golf clubs made with raw carbon materials. Nowadays, Yonex has gotten into the snowboard and walking shoe industries as well. It has not been an easy ride during the company's 60 year history.
