Just minutes away is Gatineau Park, commonly referred to as "Ottawa's playground", where hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and swimming are popular in the summer, as are snow shoeing, dog sledding and skiing in winter.

The Ottawa Fat Cats are a semi-professional baseball club in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The team begins play on May 8, 2010 and will play its home games at the Ottawa Baseball Stadium. The team is a member of the Intercounty Baseball League.

The 24h of cycling is an event for everyone. It's a fundraiser that benefits children, it's a cycling relay marathon from noon on Saturday until noon Sunday. And it's also 3 days of fun!
