Steering Towards Hope Poker Run - Scotiabank Place - July 28th, 2012
Come early and have fun in the sun at this family friendly charity event! This combination Poker Run and Show n' Shine event will showcase some of Ottawa's most fabulous vehicles, including antique fire trucks, vintage cars of all sorts, large construction trucks and motorcycles. In addition to the wheels, four of Ottawa's best bands will be rocking the stage, we will have local vendors on hand offering delicious food and drinks and a Play Zone for the kids to enjoy!
All proceeds from this event will support the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Admission is free but visitors are asked to bring canned goods and non perishable food donations to the event to benefit the Ottawa Food Bank.
The Poker Run is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the Show n' Shine and entertainment is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
