Welcome from the Mayor

On behalf of Ottawa City Council and the Citizens of Ottawa, I extend to you a warm welcome to our great city!  Ottawa Kiosk provides a great opportunity for you to see all that Ottawa has to offer from the comfort of your home but I encourage you to come and experience Canada's Capital.

I know that you will soon come to enjoy all that Ottawa has to offer.   The Byward and Parkdale Markets, The National Arts Centre, The Experimental Farm, twelve National museums and our spectacular National Gallery and Canadian Museum of Civilization are only a few sites that I am sure you will find captivating.  Ottawa also boasts great shopping, dining and accommodations that truly highlight our status as the Nation's Capital.

There is never a shortage of activities for families and individuals in Ottawa.  The Gatineau Hills and our parks provide ample greenspace for outdoor fun and the many festivals that this region hosts.  There is also the world famous Rideau Canal that serves as a skating rink in the Winter and as the backdrop for the Winterlude Festival.
